COMPLIMENTARY TRAIN TRAVEL ABOARD THE 'CALIFORNIA ZEPHYR' We have included travel from any Midwestern or California point to Salt Lake City aboard the California Zephyr, a fabled and scenic route everyone should experience once. Guests who wish to upgrade from the included coach accommodations may upgrade to bedroom accommodations and pricing varies by date and room type. Like airline tickets, rates are less costly when early reservations are made. The California Zephyr features full dining car and sightseer lounge service regardless of your accommodation onboard.
The Columbia Queen Accommodating only 150 lucky passengers, the Columbia Queen is a jewel and the ultimate sightseeing vehicle to travel through the West on. There is a lovely dining room with Tiffany & Co. chandeliers, a sunny white-washed 'Back Porch' with rattan chairs, a comfortable bar overlooking the bow and some of the nicest cabins afloat, richly furnished with original art and Pendleton blankets. Many cabins open onto the open deck and others have private Verandas or French Balconies. Like aboard is casual, with no need for formal clothing and there is a first-rate onboard enrichment program with lectures and a friend all-American crew. There may be a more comfortable way to follow in the footsteps of Lewis & Clark but we have not found it!
